Antonio Saldana

A celebration of Life will be held on Monday, July 9, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. in Resthaven’s Abbey Chapel, burial will follow in Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 8, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. with a Rosary service be held at 7 p.m.

Antonio Reyes Saldana, 17 years of age, from Wolfforth Texas. Antonio was carried to his heavenly home on July 6th, 2012. After God gave the command to his angels to bring this earthly Angel home.

Antonio loved his Mother, Jessica Camacho, his Dad, Billy Mann and especially his little sister, Madison- all of Wolfforth Texas. Antonio equally loved his mother, Marlene Saldana, his daddy, Enrique Saldana, and his two brothers, Gabe and Nicholas- all of Lubbock Texas. He was preceded in death by his maternal great grandfather, Manuel Portillo and his paternal grandparents, Leonor Quintero Saldana and Antonio Saldana. He is survived by his maternal Grandparents, Juanita Camacho and Conrado Camacho and his great-grandmother, Natalia Portillo. Antonio is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins that loved him dearly.

Antonio’s speech was limited but he could speak volumes with his smile. His physical disability limited his movement, but Antonio could move mountains with his heart. Antonio loved anything bright, powdered donuts dipped in milk, pancakes in the morning, the motion of a ceiling fan and many other simple things we take for granted. Antonio’s passing will forever leave a void in our lives; But, we find comfort in knowing that Antonio defeated his physical ailments and is complete and resting comfortably in the bosom of Jesus and with those loved ones that went before him.
