Judy Elaine (Call) Balla passed away August 25, 2023 at age 71 after a long and noble battle with ovarian cancer. Judy graduated from Stephens College in Missouri and prospered in early careers in fashion design and as a JCPenney store manager. In 1995, she joined her husband to help run the family woodwork manufacturing business, Collinswood Designs. Judy especially loved working with the Guide Dogs for the Blind training program. She also sponsored three children through Compassion International and worked with the Samaritan's Purse charity. But Judy is most remembered by that contagious smile, her welcoming kindness, and her unwavering faith in the Lord, which she shared with all. She is survived by husband Tom, a niece, two nephews, and dog Roxy.
A funeral will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 at LifeBridge Christian Church Fellowship Center in Longmont with a reception following the service at the church.
