Born May 27, 1934 in Louisville, Kentucky, Bill was the son of William George Schneider & Dorothy Morganett. Bill was of the Baptist Faith, a member of the Corinth Baptist Church in McQuady, Kentucky. He was a former volunteer firefighter, a Deacon in his church & ran a jail ministry in Grayson County, Kentucky at the Grayson County Detention Center. He enjoyed nature & living on Rough River for over 40 years. Bill was a veteran of the United States Navy & Naval Reserves.
Besides his parents, William & Dorothy Schneider; his spouse of 61 years, Marilyn Ann "Lynn" Schneider, precedes Bill in his passing.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Vicky (Perry) Padron, Greg (Sharon) Schneider & Jeff (Cristy) Schneider; grandson, Garrett Schneider; plus, a host of other relatives & friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the Dignity Chapel of the Evergreen Funeral Home. Bill will be laid to rest in the Garden of Prayer of Evergreen Cemetery & Garden Mausoleums. Visitation will be held on December 20, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until the Funeral Hour of 2:00 p.m. also at the Evergreen Funeral Home.
