William “Higgie” Higgins, 68, entered into rest on Thursday August 27, 2020. He was a member of St. Martins Brotherhood and an Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his Son, Billy Higgins; His Parents, Bernie and Edith Higgins; Brothers, Bernie and Chuckie Higgins; Sister, Bonnie Legg (Bill); Brother in Law, Pat White; He was Employed by Louisville Motor Speedway and Sportsdrome Race Track. Higgie is survived by his Wife, Mary Lou; Daughter, Monica Bolin (Charles); Mother-in- law, Margaret O’Keefe; Great Friend, Rick Erwin; Grandchildren, Dustin and Destiny Bolin, Jordan Higgins, Josh Kanauz; Sister, Cindy Sakai and Angie White (Pat); Brothers, Larry, Carl, Robbie Higgins. And several Cousins, Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles. There will be a Prayer Service on Monday at 8pm at the Advantage Funeral Home – Hardy Chapel, with Cremation to Follow. Visitation will be held on Monday from 2-8pm at the funeral home.
