To me you'll always be my father in law and I'll always love you. Thank you for being there for alyssa. You have helped raise her and I'm forever grateful to you. This still doesn't seem real. Until we meet again.

What a wonderful man. Bill was also a loyal and dependable employee back in the Pro Bowl days. Always had a kind word to share to others and just a warm and caring person to work along side by side. Have nothing but wonderful thoughts of Bill and will surely miss him. My deepest sympathy  to  Bill's entire family and friends, God bless.

That smile, was always on Bills face. He shared it with the world. Such a blessing to have him in my life . That’s  the way I will always remember him, his smile.  Fly High my friend. Love Sue. 

Mr Bill was one of the kindest and most generous people I have ever known.  I was secretary of four leagues at Bullitt East, bowled on four leagues and subbed regularly on three more so I knew him well. I never saw him treat anyone with anything but respect. His word was his bond. If he said it, you could depend on it. 
He and Ms Shirley truly loved each other and showed it daily.  They loved and talked about their foster children regularly. Ms Shirley was always shopping to find something she thought one of them needed. I  never once heard Mr Bill raise an objection.  We got to meet some of their foster children.  There are many men and women out there today whose lives are so much  better today  for Mr Bill and Ms Shirley having been part of it.
My Washington was blessed to have had Mr Bill has a part of the business community for 26 years. He took an active part in scheduled events and activities of the city. He hosted many events at Bullitt East with no charge to the organization using his facility. That was just the kind of person he was.
He was never too busy to help out bowling alley Personnel around the country that had equipment problems that were beyond their knowledge to solve. He probably forgot more than most people knew about maintaining equipment and anything pertaining to bowling. He was a knowledgeable problem solver who was always ready and willing to travel wherever an expert troubleshooter was needed.
Mr Bill was a happy person who always wore a smile. He will be greatly missed by a multitude of bowlers who frequented BEBC as well as people who just stopped by to visit with him and Ms Shirley. 
The world would be a much better place with more Ms Shirley’s and Mr Bill’s. 


Uncle Bill was an exemplary person! My family and I had many good times when he would have family get-togethers at his place and at the bowling alley he always made us feel welcome make sure everybody had everything they needed. Many of nights playing pool with his pool room! Good times!!You will be missed!

I remember uncle Bill always laughing and made us feel welcome in his home. Him and shirley was the best with all their foster kids. We had so much fun at his bowling alley and get togethers at their home. Uncle Bill would make sweet comments on my FB page. I love you uncle Bill and you will be missed. RIP! 🥰❤️

I met Bill around 35 years ago at the bowling alley! I bowled on a couple leagues back then and sometimes just came in there to see Bill! He was always such a sweet man! He was loved by many and will be missed! May he Rest In Peace! Thoughts and prayers are with his family! 🙏🙏🙏

Such a wonderful Uncle, my memories of his sense of humor and smile always made me feel welcome. He will be missed. Rest In Peace Uncle Bill.
