He was retired from General Electric where he worked as a electrical engineer. He was a member of Buechel Presbyterian Church in Louisville, KY.
Surviving include his sons; Rev. William H. Beswick and Bruce Ryan Beswick, his daughter; Cheryl Muscutt, a sister; Estelle Wyrick and four grandchildren.
Funeral services where held at Buchel Presbyterian Church on Thursday, March 8, 2001, 4032 Bardstown Road, with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 7, 2001, at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Road Louisville, KY.
