Tim A Distler, beloved husband of Lori (Juergens) Distler, loving and devoted father to Andy (Laura Blanco) and Katie (Zach Meyers), cherished “Pops” of Zara, Lyla, and Gabi: dear Brother of Denise (Keith) Barnes and Becky (Ed) Galt and Loving son of Helen Distler passed away suddenly Friday, November 25, 2022. Also survived by loving nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, and many cherished friends. He was predeceased by his father Ervin Distler and younger brother Eric.
Tim and Lori married after college 42 years ago. They have enjoyed a life full of love, fun, and laughter. He had a great sense of pride in his family. Three true joys of his life were his three granddaughters. He had a passion for cooking on his Big Green Egg and enjoyed sharing his food with everyone. Of late, he had become an avid cyclist and enjoyed riding with his wife, daughter, and friends. He was a handyman who could fix just about anything. He also discovered a joy in teaching as a substitute teacher and sharing stories from each day. Tim was a veteran and was very proud of his 10 years of military service to his country. Tim was an honest, trustworthy man full of integrity and a willingness to help anyone who asked.
He will be sorely missed by all: especially by his family, three sweet granddaughters, and all who were lucky enough to know him.
