Thomas J. “Tom” Wilson, age 78, of Louisville, KY, passed away on January 19, 2021. Tom was born on January 30, 1942 to the late Joseph William Wilson and Emilie Hiter Thomas Wilson. He is also preceded in death by his grandson, Eric Wilson.
Here to continue on Tom’s legacy is his loving wife of 22 years, Donna Weedman Wilson; children, Christopher Wilson, Andrew Wilson and Rachel Vessels (Joseph); grandchildren, Georgie Wilson, Benjamin and Jackson Vessels; sister, Geraldine Walts; brother, Theodore Wilson (Jane); as well as loving extended family and friends.
Tom will be remembered for his dedication and service to our nation, proudly serving in the Air National Guard. Tom retired as Senior Vice President from National City Bank after many years of service. Tom also retired as an Official of The Federal Reserve Bank of Louisville.
A memorial service to honor the life and legacy of Tom will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 2 p.m. at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven (4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218), visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until time of service at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Tom, may be made to The Salvation Army or The Home of the Innocents.
