Thomas E. McDonald 75, of Louisville, passed away, Thursday, December 5, 2013 at University of Louisville Hospital.
Mr. McDonald started Mercy Ambulance Service in 1967; he was a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer, and an avid boater.
He was preceded in death by his parents Carl and Ella McDonald; Aunt Mattie and Uncle Earl Sanders.
Survivors include his loving children Sandy Vanover (Rory), Christy Christian (Bill), and Melody Miller (Chris); loving companion Susanne Willis; 4 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; former wife Carol J. Hayden; his dog Buddy.
His funeral service will be at 12:00 P.M. Saturday at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Okolona. Burial Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation Friday 2-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
