Teresa Lynn Acton

She is survived by, her husband Sedat, and her children Tijen Lines, Anthony Acton, Sarah and husband Greg Colombo. She was a grandmother to eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.

She leaves behind her parents, Jim and Lois Milliner, her sisters, Sandy Bishop (Mike), Cathy Hislop (John), Lori Dench (Tim), Beth Milliner and many nieces and nephews, all of whom she cherished.

Teresa was a talented hairdresser who worked side by side with her husband for over 40 years. She was truly a beacon to all who knew her. She had an instinctive ability to find beauty in everything and everyone.

We will miss her here on earth but we look forward to the day when we will meet again. We know she will greet us in Heaven as the great hostess we knew her to be.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 1st at Ascension Catholic Parish at 4600 Lynnbrook Drive from 4:30 - 7:30pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her memory to Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest.
