Susan was born in Louisville to the late John and Irene Grace. Always a hard worker, she held a number of jobs, most notably as a receptionist for Seven Counties Services, Office Manager for OD White & Sons Funeral Home, and clerk for Dollar General. She was a member of Little Flock Baptist Church.
Susan was preceded in death by her husband Noble Briley Jr; and a son, Jonathan “Tommy” Briley. She is survived by her sons Aaron Briley (Misty) and Scott Briley; a sister, Joyce Dohn; nieces Vonda, Tracy, Kimberly, and Tonya; and grandchildren Terry, Izabell, Kymber, Christopher, Hannah, AJ, Savannah, Jonathan, and Anna Lee.
A visitation will take place Wednesday, December 18, 2024 from 10 am until time of service at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway, with funeral services at 1 pm. Burial will take place immediately following at Louisville Memorial Gardens West.
