BROWN CRAIG, SHIRLEY ANN, of Louisville, passed away on Friday, August 24, 2012 at St. Mary's and Elizabeth Hospital.
Born in Louisville, she was a dedicated Civil Service employee, proudly supporting the men and women working to protect the United States. After retiring from the Civil Service, Shirley worked for the Army Corps of Engineers. Shirley was a lifelong Catholic and a graduate of Presentation Academy.
A wife and mother, Shirley received her greatest joy from her eight children, Valerie Lindsey, Robert Brown, Donna Hopkins, Steven Brown, Thomas Brown (Becky), Mary Dossett (Kevin), Melissa Martin and Shane Craig. She was very proud of her 20 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Shirley was the only daughter of five siblings and is survived by her brother, Gerald Robertson of Orange Park, FL.
Visitation will be at Hardy Funeral Home and Cremation Service 10907 Dixie Hwy., Monday from 2- 8 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9 a.m.-noon. Funeral service will be held at noon
