Sherman was a member of New Hope General Baptist Church in Sadler, Kentucky. He was also a lifetime member of Robinson Plum Masonic Lodge #266, Scottish Rite, Kosair Shriner and Bullitt County Shrine Club.
His parents, wife, Sharon Hayes, and son-in-law, Michael Miller preceded Sherman in death.
Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Kimberly Ann Miller, stepsons Derrick, Travis and Curtis Stout, six grandchildren, Matthew, Ashley, Ava, Roman, Destiny, McKiney and lifelong friend and caregiver aunt Bev.
A memorial gathering will be Thursday, November 16, 2023 from 3pm-8pm at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home in Okolona, with a brief memorial remembrance ceremony at 7pm lead by Sherman’s loving nephew, John Sherman Allen.
