Sharon Coomer

Sharon worked in the printing industry as a bindery operator for most of her life, with a brief stint in electronics building circuit boards. She was dedicated to her family. She raised several children, was devoted to her husband, her grandchildren and touched many lives with her no nonsense approach and unexpected humor. Her love of animals and gardening was well known.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Michael R. Coomer and her parents, George and Shirley Duggins.

Sharon is survived by her children, Mellissa Patterson Catron, LeAnne N. Patterson, Nellie Valentine (Billy), Jesse E. Powell, Frank Foley and Shelby Gray (Stuart). Grandsons, Robert D. Patterson, Raymond Valentine, Bill Valentine, Bill Valentine and Vincent Sayre. A brother, George Vernon Duggins Jr.

Friends are invited to attend a visitation from 1-5 pm on Sunday, June 4, 2023 at Arch L. Heady - Cralle Funeral home. 2428 Frankfort Ave. Louisville KY 40206.

An inurnment will take place at later time in Cave Hill Cemetery.
