Sharon L. Aubrey, 68, was born in Louisville, KY on March 4, 1949 to the late Theodore and Eva (Elrod) Gibbs and passed from this life on April 10, 2017. She was a former employee of Pinkerton Security Services and was proud to have a K-9 dog. Sharon was an avid bowler and enjoyed league bowling with her sisters and mother, she also enjoyed traveling to buy and sell antiques. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Bill Gibbs; sisters Diana Gibbs, and Virginia Rodriguez. Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Fred Aubrey, Sr.; daughters, Angela Basil (Aaron); and Sheri Iden; a son, Paul Gibbs; a sister, Tonya White; and brother, Ted Gibbs; and 5 grandchildren. A service to celebrate Sharon’s life will be held at noon on Monday April 17, 2017 in the Southern Chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd. with burial to follow in KY Veterans Cemetery Central in Radcliff. Visitation will be from 2-8 pm Sunday. Memorial Gifts may be made to Hosparus of Louisville.
