On Friday, November 25th, Sean Phelps, beloved son and fiancée passed away unexpectedly at the age of 45. Upon graduating from Fairdale High School, Sean went on to become an entrepreneur and contractor working in the Louisville area. In his spare time Sean enjoyed travelling the world with his fiancée, Becca, visiting more than 20 countries. Most recently the two of them travelled through Greece, with Sean always making new friends along the way. Sean loved helping the community around him by giving financial support to those in need and repairing things for people when they could not afford to pay him.
Sean is survived by his parents, Ed and Lindi Phelps; his fiancée, Becca Ballou; her parents, Jo Ann and Wayne; a brother, Jordon (Tiffany); and his beloved niece, Lizzie.
Memorial Services will be held on Monday, December 5th, 2022 at 4:00 p.m. in the Dignity Chapel of the Evergreen Funeral Home. Memorial Visitation will begin on Monday, December 5th, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. and then will resume following Memorial Services until 8:00 p.m. also at the Evergreen Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be made to Norton Children’s Hospital in Sean’s name.
