Ruth Ann Van Cleave, 65, passed peacefully on Sunday, July 31, 2023. Ms. Van Cleave was born in Louisville, Kentucky on March 25, 1958 to the late Mary Catherine (Gelthaus) and Walter Edward Arthur Van Cleave.
Ruth enjoyed being a part of many activities, throughout her childhood and teenage years, Girl Scouts, and playing the flute, she was involved in her high school marching band also.
Left to cherish her memory is her siblings, Walter (Tina), Mike, Marilyn and Joan Van Cleave; along with a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2023 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Arch L Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky, 40218.
