Robert was an accomplished guitarist He also tinkered with computers and collected many things.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Antha Skaggs; his sister, Suzie Esterly; his brothers, Kenneth Ray Skaggs and Edward Lee Skaggs; his grandson, Brandon Louis Skaggs; and nieces Cindy and Tammy, as well as nephews Stevie, Ronnie, Brian, and Darryl.
He leaves behind his wife, Vickie Lynn Skaggs, as well as his children, Robert Jr. and William Leigh Skaggs (Joy). His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Erin Nicole Skaggs, Gabriel Skaggs, Julian Skaggs, Adam Skaggs, and Lilly Skaggs, and great-grandchild, Kitana Jade Skaggs.
A visitation for Robert will be held Saturday at Advantage Funeral and Cremation Services on January 4, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 6:00 PM 10907 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40272.
