Robert G. Jones 3/19/32 - 9/27/21 Louisville, Kentucky, Robert G. Jones, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, former U.S. Air Force Staff Sergeant, passed away in Louisville, Kentucky on September 27, 2021. He was 89 years old. Bob was born in Muskegon, Michigan. He married Elaine Wheeler from Coral, Michigan. The couple was married 58 years. Elaine passed away in 2013.
He worked for the United State Post office, served in the United States Air Force (Korea) and Reserves. Bob and Elaine were active members of Calvary Baptist Church on Forest Ave 1960-1980's, later years Berean Church (now Anchor Point) in Norton Shores. His favorite song was "Because He Lives". He relocated to Louisville, Kentucky in 2016. We were touched by the care, love and professionalism everyone at StoryPoint Senior Living gave him.
He is survived by his daughters Bonnie Jansma & Kathy Lewis, grandchildren; Stephanie Whitener (Scott) and Jacob Lewis (Chrissy) and two great-grandchildren.
