HALL, ROBERT V., 89, of South Louisville, peacefully passed from this life on Friday April 29, 2011 at the Franciscan Health Care. He was a decorated veteran of World War II, where he received 3 bronze stars while serving in both European and Pacific Campaigns, a retired employee of the old International Harvester where he was also a union representative, a member of the Sunset Masonic Lodge #915, and a member and past deacon of Southside Baptist Church where he served for over 40 years. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, the former Loraine Towery; sons, Robbie (Jean), Mike, (Lisa) and Tony Hall; a sister, Martha Carter; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A service to celebrate Mr. Hall's life will be held at noon Wednesday at the Southern Home of Arch L. Heady & Son, 3601 Taylor Blvd., with entombment to follow in Evergreen Mausoleum.
