Bob was born July 28, 1953 in Owensboro, Kentucky.
He was a Certified Public Accountant and the owner of New Century Consulting. Bob was a member of Southeast Christian Church. He was a kind and gentle man who truly walked in the footsteps of Christ. His wife, Joyce, was the center of his world and he took great joy from his children and granddaughters. Bob left a legacy of love, caring and commitment that will survive his passing.
Bob and his family would like to express their gratitude to the staff and physicians at Baptist Hospital East and the Palliative Care Facilty there. They were very touched by the tender care he received.
He was preceded in death by his father, Chester Louis Fleming.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Joyce M. Fleming; two sons, Stephen Parker (Allyson) and Chandler Parker (Jennifer); mother, Marietta Wilson Fleming; three siblings, John Fleming (Marilyn), Sue Hall (Wayne) and Jessie Fleming (Diane); two beloved granddaughters, Ashleigh and Elizabeth.
Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Road. Private Interment will be at Cave Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday and 10:00 a.m.to 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday prior to the service at 2:00 p.m..
