She was born May 3, 1960 in Jeffersonville, IN, the daughter of Guthrie and Evelyn Mahoney, who preceded her in death.
She was a hairdresser and owner of Short Cuts of Louisville and was also a member of the former Mother of Good Counsel Catholic Church.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 30 years, David Greenwell; a son Mitchell Greenwell (Terra); a daughter, Allison Greenwell; brothers and sisters, Doug Mahoney, Patricia Glass, Jeri Goss, Sharon Stuart, Andrea Eicher, Brenda Cook, Debbie Gedling and Rick Mahoney as well as many friends and family members.
A Celebration of Gina’s Life will be conducted at 6:00 PM on Saturday, June 23, 2012 in the Chapel of Arch L. Heady and Son at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Road. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
