Randall Lee Thomas, 59, of Crescent Hill, passed away Saturday, Dec. 27, 2014, with his loving mother beside him. He was born April 29, 1955 in Louisville, Ky. He was a singer and accompanied the choirs of Crescent Hill Baptist Church, and St. John United Church of Christ for many years. He was a proud Scout, receiving his Eagle, God & Country, and Order of the Arrow. He attended the University of Louisville.
He was preceded in death by his father, Humphrey Thomas Jr. and two siblings.
He is survived by his loving mother, Berniece Watson Thomas, and 2 uncles, Henry Watson Sr. and Carlyle B. Watson and several cousins.
Services to celebrate Randy’s life will be held at 11 am Wednesday, in the chapel at Crescent Hill Baptist Church, 2800 Frankfort Ave. with interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 3-7 pm Tuesday at Arch L. Heady-Cralle Funeral Home, 2428 Frankfort Ave.
