Nancy Edda Campbell, a beacon of love and spirited joy, passed away peacefully on October 6, 2024, at the blessed age of 94 in Kentucky. Born on January 17, 1930, in Washington County, Nancy's life was characterized by her unwavering love for her family.
Those who knew Nancy will remember her as the embodiment of love. She had an extraordinary ability to connect with people; she never met a stranger and had the unique gift of making everyone feel like family
Nancy was a dedicated employee at General Electric for 30 years where she formed lasting friendships and earned the respect of her colleagues. Nancy was a lifelong member of the Fisherville Baptist Church for 60 years
Nancy was met at the gates of Heaven by her husband, Joseph Edward Campbell, her daughter Peggy Campbell Ferriell and many more Angels.
She leaves behind her children, Joseph F. Campbell (Bridgett), Barbara Gregory, Mattie Cox (Sonny), Sarah Campbell (Kent), and Scott Campbell (Marie); 2 sisters, and her cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, all of whom were touched by her remarkable spirit.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Nancy's memory may be made to The Fisherville Baptist Church; and Hosparus Heath of Louisville.
A visitation for Nancy will be held Friday, October 11, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40218. A funeral service will occur Saturday, October 12, 2024 at 11:30 AM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven.
