He was born to the late Lillian and Millard “Red” Douglas in 1942. His sister, Joy Wohschlegel (Orville) also preceded him in passing.
Bud was an Army Veteran who enjoyed the outdoors. After returning from the service, Bud worked at Fuller Equipment, Brewer Heating and Cooling and as Maintenance Supervisor at Watterson College before going into business for himself as general contractor. If Bud was not working, he was spending time at the lake fishing or with his family. Being a husband, father and pawpaw was what made Bud most proud. Bud was always looking to help others, making friends wherever he went. He was a member at Jefferson County Sportsman Club.
Here to cherish his memory is his wife and best friend of 58 years, Linda Douglas “Mrs.D”, sons; Tony (Beth) and Donald (April), grandchildren; Benjamin, Nicholas, Melanie, Adalyn “Addie”, Johnathan, Avy, great grandchildren; Cheyenne, Henley, and Levi.
