It still feels like yesterday that you left us and I don't ever think the pain will go away. Your birthday is coming up fast and the closer it gets the more my heart hurts. I thought I would have stopped crying by now but I can't. I miss my big brother

Sems like yesterday that Mike and our son, Mike were teammates at FCHS.  What great times they had, and in turn, shared with us!  Barry and Marlene, my heart aches for you...this is an experience that every parent fears and no one can imagine.  You and the rest of the family are in our prayers.  I hope that you can take solace that Mike is waiting for you and that you will someday be reunited as a family.  Shane, we will miss your smile...

What I remember most about Mike is how easy he was to talk to and the love he had for his children and family.  He always had the most wonderful things to say about them.  Mike always referred to himself as the” Minimalist” believing that less was always more and dreaming of how one day he would have liked to retire on the beach living the simply life. 
He had a smile that was contagious and his smiles always made everyone around him smile.  I miss my friend so very much and I am truly very sadden by this lost. I hold faith that one day we will all see that smile again.  Until then may you rest in peace and know that you were, are, and always will be very much loved and missed more than words could ever say. 
My heart goes out to the Wyatt family with prayers for peace in their hearts and mind.  Know that Mike is home with the Lord and that God is with you all and will carry you through this time. He is your rock and will never leave your side.

I am so happy to have known Shane and his family while growing up.   I know the lord took home a great man, father, friend, son, football player, soldier and so many other adjectives that describe Mike.  Wishing nothing but the best to the families and children during this trying time.

We are so shocked and saddened by this news.  Our love and prayers are with his family.  In times like these, God is our anchor and a very present help when it seems unbearable.  We love you all so much!

Mike was a good friend of mine and I had the luxury of playing sports with Mike in high school.  What a tenacious person.  I had a few times to catch up with Mike from time to time and what I remember most about Mike was how much he enjoyed life.

I have very fond memories of Mike Wyatt. As his coach, Mike was the epitome of every coach's dream. He was a great leader. All his teammates looked up to him. He came to practice everyday with the goal of getting better. He made all his teammates better because of his presence. Mike's unique personality was always positive & running in top gear. He had a wonderful demeanor & a smile about him that kept me from ever getting upset about him. He lived life to the fullest on & off the field. 
I can sincerely speak for the rest of our coaches in saying that we all loved him. Mike Wyatt will always stand out to me as one of my all time favorite players. He taught me that football is just a game, work hard but enjoy it just the same.
Barry, Marlena, & the rest of your family, I am so sorry for your loss. My heart is broken. I will miss him.  Mike touched the lives of so many people including my own.
