Michael "Mike" Wayne Summers

Mike Summers, 66, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2022. Mike was born on November 21, 1955. Mike was a joy to be around! He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren the most. He was an independent painter and you would always find a painters brush in his hand ready to work and turn a plane room into colorful one. He was a die hard Louisville basketball fan! His family is saddened by the sudden loss of Mr. Summers.

Left to cherish Mike's memory are his two sons, Aaron and Michael Summers (Sabrina Summers); two grandchildren whom he loved dearly, Brayden and Caroline Summers; his lifelong partner, Christine Harrod; nieces, Faith, Carla, Melissa; nephew, Terry; and his fur baby, Alice, whom he enjoyed spending the days taking her out for walks and watching her play outside with his grandson, Brayden.

Visitation for Mike will be held Thursday, March 17, 2022 from 11:00am to 4:00pm at Arch L. Heady Funeral Home, 8519 Preston Highway, Louisville, Kentucky 40219. The Funeral Service will be Friday, March 18, 2022 at 12:00pm at Arch L. Heady Funeral Home.
