Michael Gumbel

The family wants to give special thanks to the health care staff of Park Terrace Health Campus for the exceptional care and love that was given to Mike during his stay.

Mike was a Kentucky Colonel an Avid University of Louisville Cardinal Fan and a member of the Cleveland Brown Nation fan club (CBN).

His parents, Robert and Mary Gumbel and his daughter Stephanie met Mike at the gates of heaven. He has left behind to cherish his memory his daughters; Carolyn Gumbel and Tara Hogan, siblings; Ed Gumbel, Karen Easterday (Buddy) and Steve Gumbel, grandchildren; Cora and Waylon Hibbs, nephews; Robert and Triston.

A visitation for Michael will be held Monday, November 8, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40258. A celebration of life service will occur Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at 11:00 AM at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 5431 Johnstown Rd, Louisville, KY 40272. A burial will occur Tuesday, November 9, 2021 at St Michael Catholic Cemetery, 1153 Charles Street, Louisville, KY 40204.
