Maxine I. Slayton went to Heaven on November 4, 2019. She was born in Williamsburg, Kentucky on July 4, 1933.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Floyd Kenneth Slayton; parents, Tom and Nannie Alsip; and her brothers, K.D. Alsip and Lawrence Adkins. Left to carry on her memory are her children, Connie Baize, Tina Saylor(David), and David Haynes(Rose); stepdaughter, Glenda Arroyo(Dave); sister, Eula Deringer; brother, Bernard Alsip(Ruth); 7 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 12pm Friday, November 8, 2019 at Evergreen Funeral Home with entombment in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 10am-8pm Thursday and 10am-12pm Friday at the funeral home.
