Maureen C Severs

Born in Louisville where she worked and retired from PNC Bank and Churchill Downs after many faithful years of service. Maureen was a devoted member of Fellowship Church.

She is preceded in death by her son, Paul Wayne, Jr., her parents Herman and Alice Cohn, brother Barry Cohn, and the love of her life, Fred Bauer.

Maureen is survived by her brother, Lou, and Anita Cohn, her sister-in-law Glenna Cohn, and her nieces and nephews: Rebecca Stepp (Rick), Daniel Cohn (Kim), Rachel Cohn, Mickey Cohn (Shelley), and Amanda Statton. Additionally, she leaves behind 14 great-nieces and nephews and her beloved dog Sadie Lou.

Visitation to celebrate Maureen’s life will begin at 10am on Saturday January 13, with a chapel service starting at 11am at Arch L. Heady Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218. During this time, we come together to honor the memory of “Great Mar” who touched the lives of many through her lively and spirited personality and the love that she shared for her family and friends. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered in our hearts.
