Mary Alice Watts age 85 was called home by her Heavenly Father on Monday March 15, 2021. Mary was a woman of strong faith and a member of the St. Rita community for over 56 years. Mary grew up in a small farming community in Ridgway, Illinois and lived a very humble and simple life. Her greatest love was her family and teaching her children the practice of virtues from Colossians Chapter 3 verses 12 - 17.
She was preceded in death by her parents Alba and Ruth Croteau, her husband of 44 years James, her children, Kathyrn Ann, Joseph, Robert, grandson Bryce and great grandson Brantley. She is survived by her children, Terri (Mitch), Tami (Mark), Mike (Kim) , Karen and daughter in law Pam. Mary's legacy will live on in her 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 2 great,great grandchildren. Mary is also survived by her only sibling William (Angela) of Highland, California and 2 nephews.
Private funeral services will be held at St. Rita church with burial in Highland Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family request expressions of sympathy be made to St. Rita Church to support Catholic Education.
