Mary Rita Thomas, 70, of Louisville passed away peacefully on March 15, 2016.
She was a member of St. Albert the Great Catholic Church.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph L. Thomas.
Survivors include her son, John E. Thomas (Maria); 2 grandchildren, Jules Elizabeth and Michael Giovanni; 4 siblings, David Schneider, Ronald Schneider, Patricia Meschede (Bill) and Stephen Schneider (Linda); niece, Donna Mudd who was like a sister to her; beloved animal companions, Lucy and Precious and a very large extended family that was near and dear to her including her godchildren, nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, March 18, 2016 at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 1395 Girard Dr. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 Thursday at Arch L. Heady & Son at Westport Village, 7410 Westport Road. Memorials may be made to St. Albert the Great Catholic Church.
