Mary E. Gex, 63, went to spend eternal life with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, September 6, 2013. She was born October 31, 1949, the daughter of Nora Lee and George Monroe Frye.
She is survived by her husband Louis E. Gex; sons, Daniel and wife Laura, David, Joseph and wife Kara; grandchildren, Daniel, David, and Samantha; and a great-granddaughter, Ava.
Mary was a member of Hillsdale Baptist Church, where she often sang in the choir. She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
Her funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm Wednesday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy, followed by burial at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central. Visitation will be from 2-8 pm Tuesday.
