Mary Mabel Bohannon, 85, of Louisville passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Franciscan Healthcare Center. She was born on August 30, 1930 in Marion County to the late Robert and Emily Orene Fenwick Mills.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Cletis Bohannon and her brother, Joseph R. Mills
Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Wanda Elkharwily and Vena Smith, her siblings, Martin Mills, Theresa Young and Nancy Willis, her granddaughter, Tisha Wheeler and a great granddaughter, Zelda Wheeler.
A Funeral Service will be held Monday, January 25, 2016 at 10 am in Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Rd., with interment to follow in St. Charles Cemetery in Marion County at 1pm, depending on weather. Please call funeral home for updates.
Visitation will be Monday 9am until the time of service at 10am.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hosparus of Louisville or your local Hospice Chapter.
