She was born on January 16, 1947 to the late Emil & Margaret Plappert. Her sister-in-law, Carolyn Plappert also precedes her in death.
Mary Ann was an avid UK fan and enjoyed her McDonalds. She had a heart of gold and loved her children, grandchildren and her sweet fur baby, Zoey. Mary Ann was a ray of sunshine that would light up your day, her smile was so tender that it would warm your heart. She will be truly missed by many.
Mary is survived by her children, Bob Martin (Tricia) and Debbie Mayer (Troy); brother, Todd Plappert; grandchildren, Hailey, Harrison, Jack and Kendall Martin; loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 10, 2021 from 4 p.m. - 7 p.m. at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218.
Mary will be laid to rest at Resthaven Memorial Park on Saturday, September 11, 2021.
