He was a machinist for the L&N Railroad, a member of Oak Grove Church of Christ and was an avid U of L fan. Mark was a loving husband, dad and will be greatly missed.
Mark is preceded in death by his parents: Mary and O.E. Smith.
He is survived by his loving wife of 33 years: Linda Smith, son: Benjamin Smith, brother: Steve Smith, sister: Kathy Mayhall and many nieces, nephews and other loved ones and friends.
A celebration of Mark’s life will be conducted 12pm Wednesday, February 11, 2015 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd, with interment to follow At Resthaven Memorial Park.
Guests are invited to attend a visitation from 3-8pm on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 and after 10am the day of the funeral.
