She was born in February 11, 1916 in Keokuk, IA to Herbert Klose Bollenbach and Nellie Gertrude Thompson Bollenbach. She was married September 5, 1947 to Frank E. Schiele and November 17, 2003 to Frank A. Jorgensen, both of whom are deceased.
Marian is preceded in death by her two brothers, Raymond O. Bollenbach and Herbert F. Bollenbach.
She leaves behind two daughters, Mrs. Carole R. King of Louisville and Ms. Barbara J. Weatherly of Elizabethtown and three grandsons, Michael K. Weatherly, Christopher S. Gida and Steven K. Gida.
A memorial service to celebrate Marian’s life will be conducted at 2 pm, Saturday, March 8, 2014 in the chapel of Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Rd with inurnment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Guests are invited to attend a visitation from 12 noon until service time Saturday.
