Lisa J. Shofner

Lisa was born in Seoul, South Korea and moved to Louisville in the 1970s where she lived until her passing. She graduated from Western High School in 1981 where she fell in love with her husband Mark. She worked various jobs throughout her life, eventually retiring early from Dynacraft in 2021 to care for her parents. She loved her family deeply, dedicating her life to ensuring they were always provided for. Her life personified sacrificial love, exuded radiant joy, and exemplified genuine kindness. She is survived by her husband Mark, her parents Yong and Chun, her brother Charlie (and sister-in-law Yihwa), her sons Jacob (and daughter-in-law Abby) and Steven, her granddaughter Zion, her nephews Daniel and David, her niece Hannah, and her puppy Gunner. She was cherished by many and will be sorely missed.

A visitation for Lisa will be held Sunday, February 12, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, February 13, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service will begin following visitation on Monday at 12:00 PM. All services will be held at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Funeral Home, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218. Lisa will be laid to rest within Resthaven Memorial Park, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218.
