COX, Lillian E. (WATKINS), 89, went to be with her heavenly Father on Tuesday, October 4, 2016. A long time resident of Louisville, KY, she was a loving aunt and friend and member of the Victory Baptist Church. She loved spending time with family and friends, volunteered with children at numerous schools and traveled to the Holy Land. Her wonderful laugh and sense of humor will be missed. Mrs. Cox was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Cox; sisters, Sylvia, Susie and Clara; and brothers, Lenvil, Gene and Donald. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held for her at 12 p.m. on Saturday, October 22nd at the Arch L. Heady Funeral Home, 8519 Preston Highway. Visitation will be the same day from 10 a.m - 12 p.m at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Alzheimer's Association or Parkinson's Disease Foundation.
