Lewallen Maloyd Puckett

Lewallen Maloyd Puckett, 84, of Louisville, passed away February 7, 2023. He was born January 10, 1939 in Bonnieville, Kentucky to the late Arthur and Mary Wilson Puckett. He was a 50 plus year member of Valley Daylight Lodge #511, Valley Chapter #65 Order of Eastern Star, Past Advisor Valley Assembly #8 International Order of Rainbow for Girls and holder of the Grand Cross of Color, Past Advisor Valley Chapter and Pleasure Ridge Chapter, International Order of DeMolay, and he worked for Brown & Williamson Tobacco Corporation from 1957 to 1982. He was a retired owner/operator truck driver, having leased to RISS International and Core Carriers, both in Kansas City, KS and Kansas City, MO.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lena M. Humphrey Puckett, to whom he was married for 58 years. He was also preceded in death by his granddaughter, Rebecca Sue Puckett. He is survived by his children, Vivian Galloway(Patrick), Gilbert Puckett(Deborah), and Clark Puckett(Rebecca); granddaughters, Paula DuVall(Jodeci) and Jeanetta Burnett; and great-grandchildren, Eli McWilliams and Asher DuVall.

Funeral service will be 12pm Monday, February 13, 2023 at Evergreen Funeral Home with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be 2pm-8pm Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial donations can be made to Hosparus.
