Leah Lynn Lyons

She was preceded in death by her parents, Nathaniel and Katherine Weiler, her husband James Lyons, her sister Natalie Weiler, and her daughter, Kathy Burgard.

She is survived by her brother, John Weiler (Sargon) of San Francisco, CA, son Michael Lyons, and daugher Kristy Brinkhaus (Steve) with whom she lived for the past seven years, son-in-law John Burgard, five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Lynn always enjoyed the presence of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an avid tennis player until the age of 79. She loved reading, crossword puzzles, gardening, music and the performing arts. But most of all, she loved her family. For those who knew Lynn, remembering her will always provide a sense of warmth and kindness.

A visitation for Lynn will be held Sunday, October 9, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218.

Lynn will be laid to rest in Resthaven Memorial Park at a later date. A committal service will take place at that time.
