Larry proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was also a member of St. Rita Catholic Church and a retired electrician. Larry was very devoted to his family and loved animals. No challenge was too great for Larry, he never gave up.
His wife, Carol Rosalyn Stephan and siblings, Jean and Delores preceded Larry in death.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Laura Sturgeon(Brad), Edward Stephan(Cindy), Lawrence Stephan Jr.(Colleen), Angie Deck(Steve), Mark Stephan(Nicole), grandchildren, Robert Sturgeon(Amy), Katlin Mize(Andrew), Aaron Coomer(Brittney), Heather Kent, Jesse Doninger(Tifanie), Holly Blacker, Alexandra Stephan and Taylor Stephan; great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Carter, Kailey, Blake, Claire, Emma, Mabel, Etta, Autumn, Alazia, Olivia, Araya, Rylee, Reece, Vylette and Oliver; and a number of step grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, November 24, 2023 from 2pm-7pm at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home in Okolona, with a funeral service at 10:30am on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery following the service.
The family requests expressions of sympathy be made to Kentucky Humane Society.
