Lawrence P. Fahey Jr., kindly known as Pat, was born to Lawrence P. Fahey, Sr. and Juanita Barker Fahey February 13, 1940, in Louisville, Kentucky. He lived a storybook life, as he would always say. He married (and is survived by) his loving wife and best friend, Patricia “Pat” Ann Hunter Fahey of 64 years. After retirement, Pat split his time between Dale Hollow Lake and Pine Island, Florida with his wife; he loved the water, his friends/family, and his bourbon. In his later years, Pat moved back to Kentucky to the farm in Chaplin to be with his family. Pat enjoyed and took pride in manicuring the many acres of the farm. When he was not on the mower or tractor, he was cruising in his John Deere Gator on the 46 acres taking in all the beauty of the farm. In his “spare” time, when taking a break from farm chores, Pat enjoyed researching and developing his ancestry book and timeline to be shared with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Pat enjoyed spending his weekends with the “Chaplin Country Club”, drinking his bourbon, sharing his ancestry stories, and laughing with his Chaplin family.
In addition to his wife, Pat is survived by his two brothers; Danny Fahey and Gary Fahey; his three children, Greg Fahey (Cheryl), Karen Seaman (Chris), and Jeff Fahey; seven grandchildren: Nickie, Shaun, Mike, Christy, Joe, Brad, and Megan; seventeen great grandchildren: Dominic, Jaelynn, Isabella, Peyton, Spencer, Miles, Evie, Kendall, Kole, Kaleb, Kade, Rowan, Isla, Emerson, Briggs, Shephard, Tucker.
