Kenneth was born March 23, 1944 in Louisville, Kentucky to Marcus Pearson and Dorothy Louise Fox - Wright. Kenneth was a 1962 graduate of Durrett High School where he played baseball. He was a railroad clerk beginning in 1964 with L&N Railroad and then transitioning to CSX railroad where he retired in 2004. He was a life-long member of the Atwood Wesleyan Methodist Church.
Kenneth enjoyed sports, particularly UK basketball and collecting baseball cards. He also researched his family tree and discovered a lot of his ancestry, even writing about it. He loved being with his family and tried to have family gatherings as much as possible.
Kenneth is preceded in death not only by his parents but by his brother, George Hansford Wright and infant grandchild, Branden Phillip Allen.
Left to cherish Kenneth's memory is his wife of 57 years, Linda Wright; two sons, Todd Wright and Tim Wright; two brothers, David Wright and Larry (Linda D.) Wright; sister in law, Joanne Wright and many nieces, nephews and cousins, plus a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. in the Evergreen Dignity Chapel with visitation on Friday, August 28, 2020 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. also at the Evergreen Funeral Home.
The family requests that memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association.
