He is preceded in death by his father, Theodore Whobrey; brothers, Johnny Whobrey, Michael Whobrey, and Jimmy Whobrey; sister, Cindy Davidson; and his nephew, Kenneth Paul Whobrey. He is survived by his mother, Jeanie Whobrey; wife, Diane Whobrey; son, Kenneth “Lil Man” Whobrey Jr. (Lisa); daughters, Shannon Whobrey (Donnie Reinhart) and Lulu Whobrey (Danny Davis); siblings, Troy Whobrey (Daisy), Darrell Whobrey, Bonnie Gupton (Fred), and Dee Dee Whobrey; his grandchildren, Kenneth “Man,” Aubriella, Elem, Kashdon, Trey, Kamdon, Sug, Chevy, Eric, and Kristen, as well as a host of many nieces and nephews.
Earl was a working man that loved his money. He was a hustler at heart who loved his kids and grands even more. He was obsessed with NASCAR and was huge fan of Dale Earnhardt. Earl was a die hard cardinal fan. He loved to go hunting and fishing with his son. He was the man that was always there to lend a helping hand with the biggest smile you have ever seen. He never ever met a stranger.
Earl will be missed greatly by so many hearts that he has touched in his 60 years.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 19th, from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Arch L. Heady-Cralle Funeral Home. A funeral service will take place on Monday, May 20th, at 12:00 pm at the funeral home, with interment to follow at Cave Hill Cemetery.
