Kenneth retired from Ford Motor Company after 41 years. He proudly served in the United States Navy. Kenneth was also a member of St. Rita Catholic Church since 1955, Knights of Columbus and volunteered at the Franciscan Kitchen for almost 30 years and Dare to Care.
His wife, Betty Ann, brother, Father Simon Sauer, and sister Joan Murta preceded Kenneth in death.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, David Sauer(Shelia), Judy Rieman, John Sauer, Robert Sauer(Angie), six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, brother, Edward Sauer(Marilea), brother-in-law, Jim Murta and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Monday, January 2, 2023 from 2pm-8pm at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home-Okolona, 8519 Preston Hwy. Louisville, Kentucky 40219. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at 10am at St. Rita Catholic Church with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Expressions of sympathy may be made to St. Rita or Mount St. Francis.
