Kenneth Ballard

He was the retired owner of Ken Ballard’s Alignment Service and in retirement enjoyed working for Kroger on New Cut Road. Mr. Ballard was an Army veteran and a member of New Cut Road Baptist Church.

Ken had an unshakable faith in Jesus Christ and served the Lord faithfully for nearly 80 years.

He loved studying, teaching, preaching God’s Word, and playing gospel piano.

His loving wife of 36 years, Mary Lou, is looking forward to the day they will be reunited in Heaven.

Ken celebrates in Heaven as he is now reunited with his mom and dad, Lida and Court; brother, Marion; foster child, Nancy and step-son, Mark Rawlings.

Besides his wife, Mr. Ballard is survived by his children, Dennis Ballard (Sherry), Don Ballard (Lauren), David Ballard (Carol) and Diane Lozowski (Mike); his step-children, Dave Rawlings (Sonja), Larry Rawlings (Vanessa), Jack Rawlings (Elizabeth) and Dennis Wilson; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

His funeral will be on Thursday, June 18th, at 12:30pm with interment following in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery, in Radcliff, KY. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 2pm until 8pm and Thursday from 11:30am until the time of service. In accordance with the latest COVID-19 government guidelines, attendance will be permitted in limited numbers.
