Kelly Wilkins

She is survived by her mother, Bonita Frantz, husband Albert Wilkins, and her three daughters, Fallyn (Troy) Vandiver, Taylor Barefoot, Julie (Zach) Craven, and her Brother Jasen Frantz. She is preceded in death by her father Harry Edward Frantz, and brother Harry “Tony” William Frantz.

Born in Louisville, KY, she was the daughter of Bonita Little and Eddie Frantz. She graduated from Central High School, class of 1979. She married her husband, Albert Wilkins in 1986 and have been together for 38 years. The couple had three daughters, Fallyn, Taylor, and Julie. Her children remember her as a fun and very kind mother who encouraged them to pursue their goals. Our sweet mother fell nothing short of amazing when it came to raising her three daughters.

Kelly loved the outdoors and was an avid gardener. She loved all types of flowers and plants and enjoyed her yearly vegetable garden. She also enjoyed the beach, catholic picnics, farmers markets, and the St. James Art Show. Kelly went by “Keke” to her three grandchildren, Blaire Barefoot and Benny and Charlie Craven who she loved dearly.

A visitation for our sweet Kelly will be held Friday, June 2nd, 2023, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 2356- Arch L. Heady at Resthaven, 4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218. A funeral service will occur Saturday, June 3rd, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at 2356- Arch L. Heady at Resthaven.
