Katilyn Elizabeth Corder Wigley passed away, at the age of 30, on February 8th, 2023. Kaitlyn was born August 31st, 1992 in Pikeville, KY. She was a 2010 graduate of Scott High School and attended the University of Louisville.
Kaitlyn was the owner of Addie Grace & Company; a venture she was very proud of and to which she devoted much time and effort creating a successful home-based business. Kaitlyn was a gifted artist. She loved to sketch, paint, and to bless her family and friends with her precious works of art. Her love of animals knew no bounds as evidenced by her many furry friends, including her beloved rabbits and cats, that she cared for over the years.
Kaitlyn lived with a strong faith and an incredibly kind and caring spirit. She was a devoted wife and a beautiful daughter, sister, and friend. Above all, Kaitlyn was a caring mother to her daughters who she loved ever so much.
Kaitlyn is preceded in death by her grandmothers Jean Epperson and Dorothy Coggins Corder, grandparents Henry and Sylvia Ott, Arthur and Juanita Wigley; and her daughter, Adeline Grace Wigley.
She is survived by her husband Lee Wigley; daughters Stella Ann and Norah Elizabeth; parents Sabrina Epperson; Chad Epperson; Peggy Wigley, and Steve Wigley; sisters Alexis Epperson and Lainey Epperson; grandparents James Epperson; Kenneth Corder, Melbourne and Brenda Jude; aunt Melody Blackburn (Steven), brothers Joey Wigley, Patrick Wigley (Keli); and nieces and nephews Milly Seward, Autumn Blankenship, Lili Blankenship, Ella Lowe, Rylan Lowe, Shelbie Wigley, Allison Wigley, Spencer Wigley, and Lauren Wigley.
Committal service will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, February 15th at Resthaven Memorial Parks' Pavilion (4400 Bardstown Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40218). A celebration of Kaitlyn’s life will immediately follow at Woodhaven Country Club (7200 Woodhaven Road, Louisville, Kentucky 40291).
