Smith, June LaVerne (Pace), 89, formerly of Trinity Park Drive of Louisville, KY, passed away on October 19, 2015 at Wesley Manor Nursing Home. She suffered from Alzheimer’s disease for the last 7 years of her life. She was a member of Holy Family Church and AARP.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Smith; brother, Ben Pace; and granddaughter, Bridget Smith.
Left to cherish her memory are her six children, Mike Smith of Louisville, Steve Smith (Liz) of Louisville, Kathy Whitt (Bill) of Taylorsville, Bob Smith (Kim) of Shepherdsville, Kevin Smith of Louisville, and Paul Smith of Mt. Washington; 9 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass will be held Thursday at 9:30am at Holy Family Church. Visitation will be Wednesday from 3:30-8pm at Evergreen Funeral Home. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
